The other day Michael Martine had an open discussion, where he had asked the question “What do you wish you had known earlier?”. I wanted to talk more about this, I decided to write this post about it.
There’s a lot of things I wish I have known earlier in my business, I could even do a series of post about this topic (I’ll think about it). Here is three things I wish have known (no particular order).
Marketing List
This is a no-brainer. If you are in business and you want make money, you need to have your email marketing list. Is the best way to make money.
Affiliate marketing
In short: You can make money recommending to somebody the services or products of a business. Believe me, I have recommended services and products of tons of business with affiliate programs, and I have not made a penny. Although, I still recommend a lot of businesses without affiliate programs, at least now I don’t have a lot of Napoleon Dynamite’s moments (GOSH!).
Jumped earlier in Twitter
I know about twitter since the early days, but I though that was a waste of time. If I had jumped in twitter earlier, I could have more followers, more clients, gain knowledge quicker and the list goes on. Also when I decided to jump in, was a little late and somebody registered the user name “ricardonunez” a month earlier.
There’s a lot of other things that I’ wish I had known earlier, like networking, outsourcing, etc., Like I said, I’ll think about create a series of post about this.
What about you? What do you wish you had known earlier?
In case you want me to talk more about any of this topics, leave a comment. Thank you for reading.
